Motion.

I am moving forward.
Times goes on.
Another year comes to an end.
But I’m in no better place than I was.
Grinding gears.
Constant pressure to just do.
But that path is a circle.
I’m moving, but not going anywhere.
The roads look familiar.
I can see mountains.
My lungs burn.
Desire fills my heart.
But I choose the same path and I hate myself for it.
I don’t want to change.
But I long for something new.
My hand reaches out,
but my legs guide me
To all they’ve known
Ans I pass the start/finish line.
Only to go another round.
Looking.
Waiting.
Wanting.
Anxiously.

Loving the white on all the trees as a result of this morning’s snowfall. I had a long drive to work but it was gorgeous.

This song was the mantra of my late Uncle Fred - who passed 3 years ago today. Missing him everyday and enjoying every day in his memory. Relatives live on as long as we pass on their wisdom. Here is to you Uncle Fred! - R.I.P. 08.24.09
